Winter time

Well, winter has arrived. We had a "blizzard" a few days ago and then the past couple of days have been in the single digits to the teens temp wise. Here is how we are coping....

California trip....again

So Franz and I had the opportunity to interview for jobs in Ventura - so we jumped at the chance so we could visit family too! We had great weather - the only sad part was that Izzie's Grandma Esther happened to be out of town. She still loved seeing Ashley, Stanley and Grandpa Javier.

This is the new dog - Buster. Isabel just loved the dog - especially giving it kisses by opening her mouth nice and wide for the dog to lick her tongue. :)

Isabel is close to walking, but still not yet....She can find her "button" and sometimes her nose. She is saying "go go go" a lot and imitates a lot and speaks in her own language a lot.

End of October...

Wow, it has been a while since I have posted. Isabel can't keep still so it is hard to catch her in a picture! What is new? Getting closer to walking, but not quite yet, saying "ba-ba" for bottle and "na-na" for banana, but no mama or dada yet. :( She got her 1st tooth yesterday!! I know, a little late, but no worries.

Anyway, no big events recently, but here are some pics from the last few weeks...

I guess it is 2 weeks since Izzie's party....she unfortunately came down with a cold that seemed to last forever, then we spent this weekend at the cabin!! Some pics....

Dirty Dash

Sorry, you have to look at a post about me and not Isabel for once (actually, still pics of Izzie in here). And all pics here are from Jess - I take no credit for them, but hopefully she doesn't mind me posting them. Anyway, last weekend I did the Dirty Dash race - basically a mud run up in Soldier Hollow that included obstacles, a big slide, and lots of mud. Here are some pics.
